Main application fields of glass fiber

Due to the special requirements for materials in aerospace, military and other fields, glass fiber composites have the characteristics of light weight, high strength, good impact resistance and flame retardancy, which can provide a wide range of solutions for these fields.
Glass fiber has the characteristics of good size, superior reinforcement performance, light weight and corrosion resistance compared with steel, concrete and other materials, making it an ideal material for manufacturing bridges, wharfs, highway pavements, trestles, waterfront buildings, pipelines and other infrastructure.
The glass fiber composite material has the characteristics of high strength, light weight, aging resistance, good flame retardancy, sound insulation and heat insulation, and can be widely used to manufacture a variety of building materials, such as: reinforced concrete, composite wall, thermal insulation screen and decoration, FRP reinforcement, bathroom, swimming pool, ceiling, daylighting board, FRP tile, door panel, cooling tower, etc.
The application of glass fiber reinforced composites in electronic and electrical fields mainly makes use of its electrical insulation, corrosion resistance and other characteristics. The application of composite materials in the electronic and electrical field mainly includes electrical switch boxes, electrical wiring boxes, instrument panel covers, insulators, insulation tools, motor end covers, etc. The transmission line includes composite cable supports and cable trench supports.
